Fire In The Sky

As the sun rose this morning and hit this very special bank of cloud it really looked like the sky was on fire! So spectacular I could hardly tear my eyes away!

Even when we went for our walk about half an hour later these clouds were still there and I have some great shots of it just grey which I must get into my folio at some stage.

This cloud was the beginning of a storm front that has gradually enveloped the city this afternoon. We've had a bit of rain but there is more to come and further south there is already flooding.

As I write here at 10.30pm I just glanced out the window and can see that a very thick fog has silently descended upon us brrrr I must go to bed!
