The Inner Workings Of The Paperbark Tree

Because of all the storms and strong wind the paperbark trees are looking very ragged. Great chunks of their bark have been torn away to reveal their inner workings.

I find all the layers and openings quite mysterious and thought this made an interesting abstact kind of image!
