Eastern Cicada Killer

The Eastern Cicada Killers are out in full force in front of my office building.
I blipped these creatures about a year ago so I won't go into the full write up again.

The weather continues to be DISGUSTING in the Washington, DC area. Car thermometer read 102 (39C) the entire drive home (it's 98F/37C in the shade) and the humidity and haze are just adding to the misery.

Good news is that a cold front is supposed to swing through Saturday afternoon and then we can look for temperatures in the mid-eighties (~29-30C) next week.
