Monarchy

Came up to Nelson today, and as I had some spare time I stopped at the gardens to check on the monarchs. It was very windy and I wasn't sure how or where they'd be. They weren't on their usual trees and I was disappointed but took a wander around the park and found them on the sunny side.

Although it was windy there, it was a beautiful blue sky day - not bad for mid-winter.

Went to the specialist - the foot is healing well - better than I deserve as I haven't stayed off it like I was supposed to!

I also called in to visit my brother, who is also healing well. No driving or doing anything even slightly energetic for him for a time, but he seems to be doing okay. He was looking good anyway and his wife is keeping him in line!
