Weird

It's not quite this dramatic this morning, but there's no doubt that we're having really weird weather this summer, with lots of extremely humid weather to the extent that you get into bed and the sheet and pillow feels damp.

We went to the village doctor this morning to see if he could do anything about Steve's appointment with the cardiology specialist not being until the third week in November. We've got to go back tomorrow morning to see if it can be moved forward at all, but it may just be the result of staffing cuts or something, but we will see. It seems to me that the real world is making itself felt here more and more and the good times are over.
