Shadowlands

After another stunning victory by the young Hearts (down to 10 men too) it was aff to the Festival of Politics to see 'Now's the Hour' from the Scottish Youth Theatre - and - it was quite OK - praise indeed! In fact, when, as part of a historical sweep, the cast hummed and then sang a snatch of 'Scotland the Brave', my eyes got quite moist. Not because of the sentiments therein, but rather for the sheer nostalgia for post war music hall which I never experienced first hand.
And we were all given a voucher for a free drink on the way out. Part of the parliament's anti-drinking strategy? As I supped my free Stella, I think it may just have been one of my five a day.
