Fathers Day...A New Addition to Our Family &......

The first Day of Spring.
What to say? I love my Dad up to the moon and back......In my life I have been so lucky to have him to every so often argue into the night...pitting our different beliefs against each other.

His intelligence has always been a source of delight...and if I stop for long enough and listen to his music with him ...... I can almost listen through his ears.....and it always sounds so much better then.

So yesterday.........the day before the first day of Spring little Aria arrived...my niece Brittany gave the family another little one to love and my Dad has become a Great Old Fella for the second time.

It's Spring and already it feels like Summer such is the weather.

Today Rumi (not the dog) is having another rest..a friend posted this and I loved it and wanted to share...a bit long but I think worth the read.

“You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert, repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting –
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.”
