A different saturday night!

After a very relaxing day we headed up to Sydney to take in the evening concert that took place after a day of events to commemorate the opening of the Open Hearth Park in Sydney! This is where the infamous Sydney Tar Ponds are.....now, after a huge clean up, it has been turned into a beautiful green space. See here for some back story.

Anyhow, we joined a few thousand folks on the grass, in front of a great big stage, with huge screens on either side (which was good cos otherwise we'd have seen nothing!) and enjoyed a free concert. During the weekend there will be all sorts of events taking place...vendors, displays, art work and this teepee site!
