The Life Of Ponty Cyclops

Autumnal Red Kite

Went for a drive up over the top of Brecon this afternoon. We wanted to show Richard real Welsh Wales. There is no where more spectacular in the world. Our SatNav took us on a wander through some of the most remote areas of Brecon the last time we went to Llanddeausant. Alas today wasn't as sunny as that visit despite the clear blue skies when we left Tonyrefail. The feed was also a much more protracted affair than last time. It took half an hour for the first birds to come down, and a in a the hour and a half we sat there they only came down three more times.

I didn't get too many good photos this time, as by and large all I got was silhouettes due the poor light and high white cloud. It was still worth the visit though, as I will never get bored of our iconic Welsh bird of prey.
