A Day Worth Recording

Falmouth

backblip

Falmouth harbour after another full, and somewhat damp, day. We attended the local Quaker Meeting - held in the WI hall - and were warmly welcomed; with offers of practical support should it be needed while we were 500 miles away.

Met up with S and new friend Billy in the rain that followed. Rummaged the local charity shops for a few missing items and then headed off to the local supermarket for supplies. There is something fundamentally wrong with buying quilts and baked beans from the same shop.

After depositing S and a ton of cans at the flat we headed off in search of food.

Tried a independent restaurant/pub that we'd had a pint in last night. A good selection of veggie options and the halumi tikka kebab was excellent. Unfortunately, E's choice, the moussaka was sold out.
