Thiepval

As yers can see, a day of blue skies and a trip to the Somme. Names so well known - Thiepval, Beaumont Hamel, Delville wood, High Wood. I could go on. And I could have gone on. But of course I had to stop for croque monsieur and frites.
Back to Arras! And the first restaurant table I've booked using my impeccable French where they haven't answered back in English. This could be a worry. Perhaps it really is a French restaurant - you know: surly, rude and off hand. And that's to their allies!
