Mother and Child

Welsh Mountain Ponies. Proud Mum, Gem, brought her new son Eddy to meet me. He is less than a week old and absolutely delightful.

I had been invited to take photos of the baby when it was born - and it should have been born before I headed away on holiday - but unfortunately she waited until I was overseas before she gave birth. So instead of a one day old foal I had to photograph a six day old.

Still, he's seriously cute no matter how old he is.
