The Edge of the Wold

Renewal

Kirkby Moor windfarm on the horizon is dwarfed into insignificance by the light show of sun and clouds, as seen from the path coming down from Gummer's How.

We were both emotionally exhausted today. I could only manage a morning in work, then came home at lunchtime. We wanted to go somewhere different with Gus, so it was Gummer's How in the afternoon, refreshing in the strong, cool wind and clear, bright air.

There is much I want to write, but tonight I can't find the words. I must say thank you once again for all the messages of sympathy that were left on yesterday's blip of Bob's passing. This is a special place.
