Birthday cake

Happy birthday dad!

Sorry this cake isn't for you. Bean made it during our clay session. Then said it was for me, not you....


Today we went outside and found things to stick in the clay that has just arrived :D Happy happy. We missed the clay modelling session at Forest School on Monday so I managed to order a big bag of clay instead! Then the boys watched TV while mum and I spent about three hours photographing the pile of hedgerow harvest she's collected over the past couple of days. Instead of making dad's birthday dinner. Which was lovely when it was finally done but took a while! The birthday cake only went into the oven once dinner was on the table. But we got plum jam made so that was good ;) And it was very good dolloped on the birthday cake! Late to bed for the boys tonight, they wanted to stay up for birthday cake ;)
