Saturday: Budapest Socialism

Today has been a foot-pounding day, assisted by the hop on - hop off bus.  We have taken in a load of sights and have given Budapest our full attention.

It is a glorious city, each building grander than the next.  But with this photo I am indulging my weakness for socialist architecture.

This evening we went to one of Budapest's 'ruin-pubs' - basically a phenomena that has arisen in recent years of pubs being established in ruined buildings.  It was well worth it - full of atmosphere and character.
