Sunday: Thermal Baths

This morning, K. and I went to explore Budapest's thermal baths while the Hermanos took themselves off to a flea market so that Christian could look for some bank notes (he is an avid collector).

We went there on the metro which was incredibly easy.  Budapest has over 112 thermal baths and obviously we were unable to do them all, so here you have the one that we did go to.  There were two pools, one slightly cooler, the other warmer, and we had a lot of fun dipping in and out of the two.

It left us feeling very mellow and relaxed with just enough energy to ooze on to the boat trip down the Danube.  This was our last touristy activity before hitting the road back to Zagreb.  K. and I were very entertaining passengers in that we slept for a good part of the journey!

Anyway, we have loved Budapest.  The trip was way too short - there is a lot we didn't get to do or see - so we are of the firm opinion that another trip will be on the cards.  At just three hours drive from here, it is eminently doable.
