DELICIOUS

Neil got in late again ( 3am ) after another night on the town. He had work today - a " stupid " shift ( his words ) from 2.30pm till 6.30pm. It was derby day - Sunderland v Newcastle United - so he was rushing around this morning to go to the pub and watch the first half of the match before going to work. He could listen to the 2nd half on the radio.

He had a craving for a bacon stottie so he dashed down to the village for supplies. Greggs wasn't open so he went to Nisa and got a couple of stotties there. Not as good as Greggs ones of course. He quickly fried some bacon and filled his stotties. Then I remembered the Forum Challenge today was delicious and decided to blip the stotties. However Neil was in too much of a hurry and was grabbing the food to eat it so I had to quickly press the shutter to get a shot before he dashed off with his stotties. So not a good quality shot but it captured the moment.

I listened to the match on the radio whilst doing the ironing. Newcastle were poor. They let a goal in within the first few minutes. Pulled one back but then Sunderland scored the winner. So no points this weekend and beaten by our bitter local rivals.

Weather has been wet and windy but no big storm as yet. Seems as though it might not be too bad here in the North East. Down South is predicted to get the worst of it tomorrow. Stay safe and batten down the hatches if you live in the South.
