Come Back Mummy Mouse!

We emptied one half of the compost bin this morning. Mummy mouse leapt out and ran off, leaving three babies, who can't be very old as their eyes were shut.

I carefully placed the little ones in the other half of the compost bin, although one had hidden himself by the time I'd run for the camera, covered them with cardboard to keep them warm, and I hope Mum will come back to find them and make a new nest.

I know... I'm crazy!
