Fall colours....

I took an earlier walk today than usual, maybe around 9am....so the freshness of the ferns, and the leaves was just so much more brilliant...

It's been a busy day here at Big Hill:
cabins prepared for next guests,
lots of laundry (and hung out on a line - gasp!);
wood stacked at one of the cottages:
some painting in the 'studio',
and then a trip to town.

It has been a sunfilled day with bright blue skies...

Dinner is on, wine is being consumed...life is good!
