Curling leaf....

an another reason to feel more than tolerant of this season as it is unfolding (pun intended, even altho it is actually the reverse of my image!!!). had a wonderful blustery walk close to home....we were definitely being influenced by Igor....but poor old Newfoundland is being hit pretty badly. the wind was amazing, and because it wasn't that cold, quite warm actually, i loved the drama of the trees and bushes being whipped around, and the clouds were moving along at quite a speed.....makes it a bit tricky when trying to get macro shots of curling leaves....but i had a good time and felt pretty happy with my investigation into the various ways in which different leaves seem to decline....can't figure out any pattern or such, just noticed that some leaves did it differently! and why not, i say :)
