Really this should have been done a few months or more ago, but anyway, we got around to it eventually!

A morning with the axe chopping wood for the hut to ensure the anglers are kept warm on those cold spring days on the river. Ash, beech and birch mainly.

The river is as big as it's been all winter and is running 2.5 metres above average summer level at the moment.
