No operation yet again - but for a different reason .... "Dracula" (Mr Christopher Lee) is, apparently "puzzled" by what is happening with Mum's legs - despite what the MRI scan showed he is not convinced that the Spinal Stenosis is what is causing the problem and he is reluctant to operate in case it is something else -
sort of a good thing as he may just do more damage (or no good) to her condition.
sort of a bad thing as we are no further forward!

He mentioned a "trip to Leeds - it would be a change of scenery" ... for Mum to be scanned again and poked and prodded ... nothing definite!

So ............ no operation in the near future so please hold on to your good ju-ju, positive thoughts and lovely stuff til we need them again ..... sorry we haven't been able to use them yet but the time will come. :-))

Mum is still in great spirits despite all the waiting and wondering - she has told me not to visit tomorrow (again) but we will talk at length on the phone - hospitals are much better now, as they allow mobile (cell) phones to be used in the wards (Mum is in a single bedded, side room anyway) and she also has the phone hook-up with her TV.

On her behalf thank you for all your great messages and the concern that you are showing - it is keeping us both going ...... you are all such a lovely lot!!!!!


As always this is last year's entry for 21 January taken from my computer screen for today's date ..... quite interesting to see the difference in weather patterns!!
