Schloß Styrum

An intense day of house cleaning - mostly attacking the kids' rooms to sort through things to throw away or give away. Incredible the quantity of stuff they accumulate! We won't discuss their collections of dust bunnies - under beds, behind dressers, and amongst the bookcases. Ugh :(

Also managed at least 6 loads of laundry and cleaned the kitchen & laundry room floors. But mid-afternoon we ran one of the girls out to meet a friend for ice-skating and stopped on the way home to explore a section of the city we've not visited before. This little manor house boasts a beer garden out back in the summer, but was closed today. We can bike there from our house along the river and will need to make a trip of it later this year.
