Approaching Storm
It was all go all day today. A walk for the dogs in the early morning. Then home and preparations for a trip to Nelson. Keith had to go to the hospital to have a post-op check following a cataract operation. Nelson city is one and a half hours drive, a very pleasant one, over two ranges of mountains. I drove Keith over and hung around reading my Kindle while he was seen to. Then afternoon tea at Morrison’s Café with son number three. After that pleasant interlude we made a quick visit to a friend en route home. Once back in Marlborough it became evident that a dramatic southerly changes was advancing up the eastern coast. We had several stops to photograph the wonderful cloud formations and late light on the dry southern hills. It was dramatic and breath-taking. We stopped off at home briefly to feed the animals and then were off out again to visit good friends. Phew! I was glad to finally get home and sit down in front of the computer, to relax and do my daily Blip!
