Saturday 5 December 2009: Tram Ride
Today we all bundled up and headed downtown for a Tram Ride.
Our kids were so excited boarding the "ride" and oooh and awwwed the whole way up. I immediately starting hearing the "click click click" of another photographer on the tram ride. His camera was very fancy, you could hear it in the clicks! The sky was blue over downtown but heavy over the mountains. The river was bright and sparkly and hundreds of cars were weaving back and forth over the many bridges that lead into downtown.
When we got up to the top, we walked to the viewing deck and took some time to take in all of the sights. As we were exploring the campus, we came across hundreds of motorcycles that were reaving up in a parking lot area. We believe that they were gearing up for a parade and there were harley's, racing bikes, and black leather everywhere. It was really exciting for our kids and of course, I started clicking away. I almost went with Mrs. Claus on a harley for today's blip.
We are home now with the fire going and everyone is having a little bit of quiet time. It is cozy and a perfect way to warm up after our little family outing.
