Monday: Fields of Gold

We left Heviz this morning and decided to start the journey by choosing an off-motorway route.  And were we glad that we did as we saw some beautiful landscapes, all misty, rolling and a lot of yellow.  This was taken between Heviz and Balaton, close to a town with a lot of consonants and no vowels.  Seriously, Hungarian is impossible - I kid you not.  Last night, we asked our waitress how to say thank you and could only look at her slack-jawed in horror when she told us - it must have had about 18 parts to it.

We got home this afternoon in good time to still have a leisurely end to the day.  We have some good TV ahead, particularly as Monday is 'Game of Thrones' night.
