the confidence before a crash?

Sienna hasn't actually crashed yet - she is far too cautious by nature to have let that happen so far but I can see that her growing confidence is one born from never feeling the pain of a fall. This evening she was racing around on her bike, catching the pedal on the tarmac as she made increasingly sharp turns, leaning closer into the ground as she did. I warned her about what was happening but thought twice about mentioning it again, as I don't want her to be scared to try something as after all her skill level might just be good enough to correct it all and ride away unscathed. Maybe that is why coaches get such good results out of their kids - they don't feel the fear of having their child being hurt?

Back to violin practice today - so much for me to learn, let alone Sienna! Then to work for 4 hours (pesky deadlines), two little girls over for a sleep over, one fireplace and surrounding wall repainted after our replacement last week (long story), a bike ride for three x 2, two different meals cooked, a kitten wormed and de-flea-ed, and now back to work.

Can't see Sunday being any less frazzling!
