VIEW FROM THE TRAIN

from the Weser Upland to The Hague, the landscape change from lovely green hills to flat land, green too, towards the Ruhr area with old Industrial buildings, some still used, others closed looking like old ruins and then we come to the province of Limburg in Holland and it is flat and green and finally we end at the station, take the bus and come home. Our journey from home to home has ended.
Piet Hein could not resist to go to the sea, to take a dive, enmbrace the seascape and rest there from the travel tiredness. I quietly sat on the balcony, looked through some papers and felt tired of the long journey.
It rained when we started, but look here near the sea we enjoy a beautiful blue sky.

My haiku:

The Ruhr area
A mystery since my youth
Those dark greys and blacks

And the proverb:

Moed hebben als een schelvis van drie duiten.

Translation: To have courage as a haddock that costs three pennies.
