Sweet peas

Grey, muggy and exhausting today. I've caught up with various chores and attempted to tackle some of the garden. It's run away with itself a bit! The redcurrants are bountiful, the gooseberries are not; blueberries are looking promising but not the blackcurrants; peas and beans rampant including for the first time ever, my sweet peas. They are growing with the ordinary peas in the polytunnel - so verdant are things in there that even the sticks I'm using to support the peas have burst into life and sprouted leaves!

We're off out for supper shortly but a small swim might be taken beforehand as the sun is attempting to burst forth.
