Short walk to the the pond

First let me thank you for giving so many stars and nice comments to my strawberry flower - kaleidoscope yesterday! Very much appreciated!

Happy to be back home after the cold journey to the cottage and after visit to grandparents. Warm and cosy here! And as to celebrate our homecoming the weather is partly cloudy and warm. Can you imagine, +17c even, no rain today!

Must be some disorder now, or maybe the warm summer is just now finally starting ;) ...

Even if I should not walk too much today with the knee medicated again yesterday, it felt so good and I wanted to enjoy the warm sunny weather, and so we had a short walk in Arboterum the botanical gardens of Tampere on our way back home.

There is beautiful flowerbeds and summer houses - and a cafeteria in the middle of a small rose garden of Arboretum. All the trees, flowers and plants have name cards, so you really can learn new things there - or just enjoy the quiet atmosphere of this stunning park.

Only few Roses blossom yet due the cold and rain lately.

The blip is from the gardens, in large shot you can see that there is one small pond quite near the cafeteria and children are watching a duck family with it's tiny four ducklings.
