Playing A Sheng

Met our USA family at the Farmers Market for a stroll around. Came across this young boy playing a strange and interesting instrument - Sheng.
An ancient instrument made from a mix of bamboo flutes and metal flutes (possibly bronze in this instance). The breath is inhaled and exhaled whilst the fingers dance over the holes set around the base of the instrument. Emits a sound not unlike the pan flutes or organ flutes but with it's own unique timbre. Beautiful sound. The young boy has been playing since he was 4!!!
