Miss yesterday completely.

We had a family gathering to feast on pizza and celebrate another birthday - early celebration as the birthday girl is off to Melbourne to share her birthday with her son. I thought I would get some party shots but when I went to use my wee camera it's battery was empty!! b&##@r!!

Early start to this day. Mother had an 8 am appointment at the Eye Clinic in the hospital. Always a long session and the atmosphere is bereft of any clean air so one starts to fall asleep very soon and then Mother has to endure eye charts, pressure checks, glaucoma tests and finally dilation drops before seeing her specialist. Good news this visit as her eyes have not deteriorated since she was last seen 11 months ago. No need to go back on the injections into her eye which is fabulous. Down side is she will not get any sight back now and will have to come to terms with that. Life is a bitch and then ...!!
