SHADOWS

Different day for the big grocery shop - and a different shop too. Instead of Morrisons we went to Asda. Lots of gaps on the shelves so I didn't get everything I wanted.

Back home to unpack and put away. Then lunch - chicken salad. Then my daughter phoned. We are looking forward to seeing each other at the weekend.

Then it was off to the doctors. I am having trouble with my feet. I thought it was a verruca causing me pain on the ball of one foot but the doc says its a corn. Whatever it is I want rid of it. I'm trying to do more walking but when it hurts every time I put my foot to the ground it is discouraging. I also mentioned to the doctor about my toenails. They were both damaged years ago and have never been right since. They need sorting out. So ..... the doctor has referred me to a podiatrist and I should be getting an appointment soon.

After the docs I popped into the Oxfam shop to see if there was anything new. I got a metal container with UTENSILS written on it. Got my lottery ticket in Tesco and made my way home.

My blip shot shows the path between the cricket club behind the fence on the right and The Glebe field behind the hedge on the left. The Glebe is where local pub football matches are played and at other times its used by local kids playing footie and dog owners throwing balls etc for their pets.

When I got home I sat outside for a while with a cold drink and an ice lolly. I love the new Mojito Solero ices. Very refreshing - and only 2 Syns each.

I potted up some hanging baskets a while ago but they have just been on the ground in the back garden. So I decided to make the effort and put the brackets up to hang them on. I put 3 brackets on the outside of the cat enclosure. The baskets have Surfinia plants in them. They are all in bloom at the moment and look lovely. Might be a future blip.
