Turnpoint Lighthouse

Today we left Roche Harbor and headed north to Montague Harbor in BC Canada. Of course we stopped to also see NannaK at Parker island, just across the bay. We had a lovely couple hours out on their deck with its magnificent view...enjoyed some wine and snacks and got some shots of the wildlife. Tomorrow we will do a bit of art, before we head north.

On our way to Montague we always pass by Stuart Island and it's beautiful Turnpoint Lighthouse, famous for it's location, as the whales frequently pass by there. This is one of their favorite routes, as they can go in a variety of different directions at this crossroad. Unfortunately we didn't see any whales today, as they were over on the west side of San Juan Island.
