The Morning after the Night before

Well, I read all the page of instructions for looking after nina last night, but it was apparent that Nina hadn't - so we played it by ear. She had consumed so many Jacob's Cream crackers while dancing with her cousin that mince and potaoes didn't cut muster or for that matter yoghurt. She was bathed and pyjamed and in bed by 6pm! Not a cheep out of her thereafter and we grown ups could have our Indian carry out undisturbed.

Her mother on the other hand is feeling the effects of a great wedding and is a wee bit under the weather , not that you would think so from the blip. She says that she has become out of practice with alcohol.
Little sympathy from me, I have to say.

His Lordship and I are about to head north, first to Perth for lunch with friends and then onwards to Ballater to stay with his cousin and wife for two nights.
Apparently the village has not much snow still lying , so we should manage some nice walks.
