EUNONYMUS FRUITS

kardinaalsmuts in dutch language, spindle tree in english.
A quiet saturday. We still screwed three shelves that missed and it is amazing how much time that actually takes. Little spots of paint where it still was needed and ready!
A lovely autumnal day!

My haiku:

Full of fruits the tree
And the sweet crab apples still
Hanging from the branches

And the proverb:

Anything for a quiet life.

c. 1621 in Middleton, Anything for a Quiet Life. Later in Dickens, Pickwick Papers:
...as the man said when he took the sitivation to the lighthouse.
