A fantastic day out ! Six of us - Freespiral, Himself, MIPlaice, Travellersjoy, BAT, and myself met at BAT's for a delicious lunch.
Then we, plus Max BAT's new french wwoofer, set off for Kealkil to take in a stone circle (part of it seen here) with a dizzying view of Bantry Bay and Whiddy island. A castle, a fantastic walk over the hills, a stone row, coffee at Collins' Bar in Kealkil (thanks TomSean!) and a holy well.
Best of all I walked uphill and downhill and over rough ground with not a single twinge in my leg! Feeling delighted!
