Dog in exile

I have never seen this before!

One of the butcher's assistants looking after a customer's
dog outside Lidgates on Holland Park Avenue.

Normally customers just tie their animals up outside.

By the way, if anyone can tell me what sort of dog this is I'd appreciate it (look at the dog link to see it's face) There are suddenly loads of them all over the park.
