Uncomfortably Numb

I've seen some great Pink Floyd tribute bands. And some not so great. I've even seen Gilmour, Wright and Mason in the flesh.

But tonight's concert by Brit Floyd was as good as anything and much better than most.

We landed safely at Milan airport, caught the bus round the ring road and pitched up at our hotel with time for a quick dins. The venue was just around the corner and we arrived with 5 minutes to spare.

They played a selection from virtually every Floyd album from 1967 to 1994. The sound was crisp and sharp. The bass drum hit you in the chest and every word was clear.

Their light show was fantastic too and helped to make every song a great experience.

The only down side was that we had to stand for the 3 hour show. We didn't mind too much, but by the end our feet were uncomfortably numb!

P.S. Today is the 20th anniversary of Pink Floyd's last ever live show at Earls Court at the end of the Pulse tour. (Live 8 doesn't count. It was just an appearance.)
