Road trip in search of snow . . .

Colorado Springs dawned and was soon a balmy 55 degs F. Yes, there was snow on Pikes Peak, but there is no skiing there. Jane the GPS guided us effortlessly in spite of my best intentions otherwise onto HWY 24 for the two hour drive through the red rocks.

This blip was as we approached Fairplay before transiting Hoosier Pass at 11, 542 feet.
