Bid for Freedom

This is one of the grapevines that grow in my greenhouse, but it has pushed its way out of the vent. I showed a tendril from it a few days ago. Strangely enough the outdoor vines have coloured up earlier than the main part inside. There the leaves are mostly green and I am still eating the grapes.

Today was another warm nor'westery day. We have had a long run of them. It has been warmer and more settled than any time last summer. But we need rain. You can tell it's dry when native evergreen trees start to wilt.
