The Pensioner

Took a walk to Stringers in the afternoon - the boy has started scraping my old fiddle and it needed a new shoulder rest so wandered through the meadows and down the bridges in the sun, though the wind was a bit chilly.
Sat awhile in the gardens having a read before enjoying a pint. Later on headed down to the FCYC (above) and lodged my application. A good crowd there to natter with - hopefully the cut of my jib was satisfactory as I'll be in need of a mooring in the near future if the boat on Skye is OK. Heading off there tomorrow with the tent - will stop at Shielbridge for the night. Whit fun, indeed.
