Eleven

My piling system for Important Domestic Documents is often controversial, especially when it threatens to spill off the shelf it lives on or to push the glass jar between which it sits off the shelf. This morning it came up trumps for holding onto the receipt for my scanner. It's been getting a fair bit of use recently having sat dormant for most of the 11 months since it was bought and it's fortunate that it's chosen this week for the lamp in the film scanning hood to start doing some weird, intermittently lighting thing. It's hard to say what it's doing as it doesn't light or scan unless the lid's down. Still, it can head back to Cancom on Saturday, hopefully for a replacement but maybe for a repair.

The flatbed part of it is OK, which is letting me keep Ewan's wee collection of drawings going but my adventures with film have come to a stop. Which is a shame. I got what looks like some nice negs back that are out of a wee half-frame Olympus Pen.
