Saturday 6 November 2010: Gin and tonic
Today's the day ...................... to inspect the new kitchen
Drove up to Edinburgh today to see Mum and Dad and inspect the new kitchen..... and it's looking very good indeed.
Most of the work was completed within five days and the only thing left to do now is to get some new flooring. The new induction hob is fully operational and there are lots of smoothly gliding deep drawers and cupboards to store things in.
Enough room actually to have one cupboard completely devoted to the provision of the gin and tonics that are a twice-daily ritual in this house - one with lunch and one before supper.
Now that's what I call being organised .........!
