Paris - day 2

We had a scrumptious breakfast at the bakery around the corner - espresso and the most divine croissant.

Walked to the Eiffel Tower, but didn't go up it. Spent a bit of time there before having our second espresso of the day.

With today being our only full day in Paris, we tried to take it all in. We saw Ste. Germaine du Pres, Ste. Sulpice, and Notre Dame by day. We had a nice lunch at a small little place by the Notre Dame (forget the name) - had shared a salad and a panini, and wine, of course.

After a late nap, we walked ~everywhere~ to try to find somewhere to have dinner. An hour and a half of wandering (and one big toe blister later), we decided on a place - l'Etincelle. Ended up just having a drink because we just didn't like the vibe of the place (and it didn't help that after we sat down the couple next to us were giving us dirty looks and whispering to each other).

Les Philosophes is where we ended up having a nice dinner (at 10pm). It was well worth it. And it felt damn good to finally sit down after our aimless wandering.
