... why is this three legged black creature with a big eye staring at me in the bath?

... why has My Mum left me alone with it?

Ali usually follows me into the bath and, fortunately has never jumped in before the water has drained. Her face is wet after drinking from the tap!

I was trying to get a lot done before I left for work so I set up the tripod with the camera ready on it, complete with remote shutter release, and hoped it wouln't disturb her as I snuck back into the bathroom with it. Then I got on with some jobs and snapped a few shots each time I passed the door.
