Just trying out

It was supposed to be my day off again today but the other chef is still ill. Today I started planning and working on my new menu, or new dishes. These are biscuits to go with desserts. I tried a few different shapes and sizes. I chose the one to the left at the front. It is just to make a plate look pretty and I will put it around a scoop of ice cream or a shot glass I think.

I also made a rice pudding flan which I am going to serve with nutmeg ice cream and a prune/armagnac smoothie. The smoothie was Harry's idea. I hope that when I go back in a minute for the dinner service that the flan has set.
