Farrananamanagh

Well, I think this was the quickest blip ever! I finished work and decided to come down to Farranamanagh Lake - a natural freshwater lake separated from the sea by a pebble strand. I was hoping to get some nice atmospheric shots of the water, and swans and reeds. I got out of the car, audibly gasped, skipped down towards the beach, swore loudly, took a couple of blips then zoomed back to the car. I have never felt anything so perishing - the wind was howling, it was freezing, the light had gone, it was starting to drizzle and my cheeks were raw! How these dried up stalks were still upright I don't know. So that's it!!

Off to make a quiche, and some jam tarts (from the left over pastry) in case Lisa stays for supper. We have an executive card meeting coming up shortly. Will catch up later.

And oh joy ... it's muck spreading day and Kevin the farmer has just arrived in the field next to us with his slurry wagon!!!! It lingers for days :(
