Our house, in the middle of our street

It's been a very grey day ,but then I realised that although nothing brilliant has happened , nothing bad has happened at all, so really that's good !
Went for first run in over a week, it felt good, I really needed it.
Got home all endorphined up and this is the sight that greeted me. Our house with just a few lights on . It actually looks like it's respectable and not like the reality ie it's in need of my calling the housey equivalent of 999 for emergency life saving services for it's crumbling internal bricky organs !!!

This doorstep has been the site of romantic kisses, of tearfull farewells, of excited kids at birthdays, of sparkly reindeer food trails at Christmas, of friends coming and going ...

It's our house , it's our home and there's a lot more happy times to be had in the future .
