Wednesday 2 February 2011: Would you give this man a job?
A heavily karmic day it would seem...
In the wee small hours, after fixing a puncture on one of the bikes, I discovered what might be a crack in a chainstay - more investigation required; arrive at work and find the tie I had planned to wear today (for reasons to come) had a mark on it; sit down at my desk and my trouser pocket catches on the arm, tearing a small hole just below the pocket showing the white lining; head out and buy a new tie and get the trousers sewn up, back in the office find the tie wasn't actually the colour I thought it was in the shop (red rather than orange, the lighting was doing funny things). But. Decided that it would still go with the shirt for the purposes of The Interview.
And ooh. Found somewhere I want to work... An hour and forty minutes I was in there for. It was only supposed to last an hour. Sadly it's two part, so I've got to impress someone else if I'm one of the two people chosen to go forward. But nice folk; stunning building (massive, with a huuuuuuge atrium with a restaurant in it); interesting sounding work. Fingers. Crossed.
Working from home tomorrow (hurrah!), so let's see what karma has in store then.
Oh, and happy birthday to my bro (that's real bro, not bro like I'm in da hood know what ah mean innit word don't axe me man).
